In the 14th minute Sait Remzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Henk Wouters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geetsvondel²'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Henk Wouters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sait Remzi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Herald Wouqier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vc Brye. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Henri-Patrick De Mare successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 31st minute Comunardo Cianci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herald Wouqier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Henk Wouters's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henri-Patrick De Mare was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. If Benne Marichal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henk Wouters to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Sait Remzi came free, but Herald Wouqier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henk Wouters to maneuver through the defense. When Marcio Lacorte came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Vc Brye fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcio Lacorte couldn't finish the play. Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Geetsvondel² from getting a goal against them. 68 minutes into the match, Geetsvondel²'s goal looked a bit too open when Comunardo Cianci came free, but Herald Wouqier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Sait Remzi sped through Geetsvondel²'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Herald Wouqier. Vc Brye's Geoffry Lefevre was substituted for Cristian Vieri. 74 minutes into the game, Matthy Reniers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geetsvondel²'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vc Brye the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthy Reniers to maneuver through the defense. Matthy Reniers hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Vc Brye's Gabríel Vassaras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Herald Wouqier. Herald Wouqier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Geoffry Lefevre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vc Brye's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoffry Lefevre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herald Wouqier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 90 minutes into the game, Geoffry Lefevre lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Herald Wouqier. When the match was over Vc Brye could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geetsvondel² throughout the match.
