An unexpectedly hard shot by Oihan De Toro in the 45th minute of play forced Geetsvondel²'s goalkeeper Herald Wouqier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Wouters was the one to do the kick off. In the 92nd match minute, Geetsvondel² was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Steenbecks to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Geetsvondel²'s Herald Wouqier got control of the ball when Arsene Van Hamme tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Geetsvondel² fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Les Bistouquettes Bleues were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
