The corner led Twierdza Osowiec's Pang Qiang Fan to fire away a dangerous shot which Waut Van Der Meeren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Claudio García's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Ricardo Hendrickx skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Twierdza Osowiec's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pang Qiang Fan in the 29th minute. Ricardo Hendrickx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reiner Fallas in the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Mili Martin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waut Van Der Meeren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anversa Club were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Twierdza Osowiec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Serhan Mehmet took the corner. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Joannes Leenknecht hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicu Vornicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Anversa Club's goal looked a bit too open when Kartal Başar came free, but Waut Van Der Meeren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Anversa Club's zone, Kartal Başar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waut Van Der Meeren came out of the goal and Kartal Başar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kartal Başar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Waut Van Der Meeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kartal Başar in the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Twierdza Osowiec's Yong 典韦 got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ricardo Hendrickx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Winarto Songgonau in the 62nd minute of play. Waut Van Der Meeren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kartal Başar in the 66th minute. Waut Van Der Meeren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kartal Başar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kartal Başar in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. A beautiful save bye Anversa Club's goalie prevented a goal. In the 94th minute, Jesús De la Torre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waut Van Der Meeren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timothy Strauss's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Twierdza Osowiec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Twierdza Osowiec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
