Chinese CJ Youth Academy's Frank Frankfurter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís de Brito in the 30th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luís Fernando de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinson Haaland in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 93rd minute, Rumen Morchev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes of play 『挑战者』上海光明队's Leal Novais was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Leal Novais hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Chinese CJ Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
