Blue Angels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Lions FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Blue Angels's Oscar Lindström got a free kick in the 21st minute. Blue Angels's Angel-Enrique Comizzo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Björk in the 29th minute of play forced Golden Lions FC's goalkeeper Anders Lundqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alf Björk in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anders Lundqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patrik Skark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Lundqvist having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf Björk came free, but Anders Lundqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anders Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alf Björk's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Angel-Enrique Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Closet in the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Golden Lions FC's Arne Tönnberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arne Tönnberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Golden Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arne Tönnberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 46th minute, one of Golden Lions FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Golden Lions FC. The referee gave Blue Angels a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alf Björk, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist. 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alf Björk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Golden Lions FC's Walter Closet got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 60 minutes into the game, Din Boll threw the ball into play from the sideline. Golden Lions FC's Georg Termander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebben Johansson in the 63rd minute of play forced Blue Angels's goalkeeper Angel-Enrique Comizzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Hausner hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 71st minute Patrik Skark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bebben Johansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angel-Enrique Comizzo. That made the score 1-1 in the 86 minute of play. Angel-Enrique Comizzo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mats Nyström in the 90th minute. Mats Nyström's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Angel-Enrique Comizzo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Angel-Enrique Comizzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Burç Tokhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blue Angels's Angel-Enrique Comizzo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Angels from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Blue Angels defense, Mats Nyström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel-Enrique Comizzo. The Blue Angels fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel-Enrique Comizzo should have stopped the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Golden Lions FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
