Billesholm's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hammarby IF the free kick. After 3 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Willem Pacho. Thanks to some nice moves Gösta Söderberg could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Jonathan Orozco however easily saved by the left post. In the 6th minute Jonas Hök shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Orozco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Billesholm's Jonathan Orozco got control of the ball when Gösta Söderberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 8 played minutes Billesholm got a freekick which was hit by Stefan Håkansson. Hammarby IF's Isaltino Paes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 9th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Jonathan Orozco but with some difficulty. Jonathan Orozco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gösta Söderberg in the 10th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celedonio Dominguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hammarby IF's zone, LeBron Puck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Vester came out of the goal and LeBron Puck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Lindqvist during the 61st minute. Holger Vester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Knut Danielsson's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. After taking down the ball on Billesholm's corner Fredric Hylander fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Holger Vester quite easily take care of the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Knut Danielsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Holger Vester was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
