Folke Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Holger Vester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Sandell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celedonio Dominguez's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. With a little luck, IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell got control of the ball when Francesco Totti tried to sneak it across the goal line. Holger Vester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siphokazi Steyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Georg Sandell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Totti in the 26th minute. Celedonio Dominguez had several of the IFK Kristineberg's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save IFK Kristineberg from getting a goal against them. Siphokazi Steyn hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. After 40 played minutes IFK Kristineberg got a freekick which was hit by Håkan Bergman. 43 minutes into the game, Frans Mossberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hammarby IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave IFK Kristineberg the free kick. With a little luck, IFK Kristineberg's Georg Sandell got control of the ball when Francesco Totti tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hammarby IF's Francesco Totti got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ted Björkqvist made the kick off in the second half. Georg Sandell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Totti in the 77th minute of the match. Holger Vester made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Ted Björkqvist sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Johan Sundén in the 93rd minute of play forced IFK Kristineberg's goalkeeper Georg Sandell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hammarby IF fans cheered their team off the field, for while IFK Kristineberg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
