With a left leg Per Viklund saved Lokomotivet Kamraterna from getting behind. After 31 minutes, Wilton França mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mellbystrand IK and the Lokomotivet Kamraterna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mellbystrand IK's Wilton França got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Eric Söder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Alrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Per Viklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kurt Brogren in the 35th minute of play. Wilton França hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Lokomotivet Kamraterna's Patrik Wahlström got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some careless play in the Mellbystrand IK defense, He Kuan Ning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Alrot. The Mellbystrand IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Alrot should have stopped the shot. Daniel Alrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Brandelius in the 79th minute of the match. Daniel Alrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Kuan Ning, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Daniel Alrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harry Brandelius in the 85th minute of play.
