Ejvind Haversen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Froila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goal looked a bit too open when Ejvind Haversen came free, but Honorio Froila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Redbull Sala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurre Garay to maneuver through the defense. Ejvind Haversen took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorio Froila. Honorio Froila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 17th minute Redbull Sala were awarded a corner. Carlos Alberto Bezerra went to the cornerflag to take it. Carlos Alberto Bezerra made a great header on Redbull Sala's corner, it was just that Besiktas's Honorio Froila managed to reach the ball for a save. Honorio Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Bezerra in the 19th minute of the match. Honorio Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 21st minute of play. Honorio Froila didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ejvind Haversen went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Generoso Garcia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 35th minute Carlos Alberto Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Froila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 37th minute of the match. If Ejvind Haversen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46thth minute of the game Ejvind Haversen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Besiktas's Honorio Froila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Honorio Froila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claes Fransson to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Froila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ejvind Haversen's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Ejvind Haversen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Honorio Froila when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Besiktas's Honorio Froila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Besiktas from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Redbull Sala booed when Besiktas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Pettersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Ejvind Haversen made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Besiktas's Honorio Froila tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ejvind Haversen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Froila having to interfere. Ejvind Haversen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute Kaodilinakachukwu Elin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Froila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Besiktas's zone, Ejvind Haversen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Froila came out of the goal and Ejvind Haversen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Froila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörgen Ström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Besiktas's Honorio Froila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Besiktas from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Besiktas's goalkeeper Honorio Froila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaodilinakachukwu Elin. Honorio Froila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, Nils Helström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Redbull Sala's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Besiktas the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, Redbull Sala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils Helström to maneuver through the defense. David Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Oskar Nykvist in the 94th minute of play. When Ejvind Haversen got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Honorio Froila was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to Redbull Sala getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Jörgen Ström hit a great ball. After having played for 98 minutes, Claes Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Besiktas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claes Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Redbull Sala played a much better game than Besiktas and deserved their victory. The Besiktas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
