The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kim Kallstrøm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Caspersson having to make a save. Claes Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Dancer in the 14th minute of play. Dick Forssell in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ronny Tiger, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 32nd minute Valter Mellin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronny Tiger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claes Caspersson made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Gogo Dancer sent off a good shot on target. When Vännäsby BF's Gogo Dancer in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cheetah Team's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Vännäsby BF booed when Cheetah Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position.
