In the 11th match minute, Besiktas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magnus Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magnus Kihlman during the 27th minute. Emanuel Sigfridsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scofield Vinciguerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Tobias Ekeberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Scofield Vinciguerra to strike the kick off in the second half.
