When John Kämpe fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurdistan CF's protests and gave John Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. Erland Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Sandell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Kurdistan CF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tscherner came free, but Erland Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Einar Olofsson lost his temper 8 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Erland Spetz had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Rickard Lövkvist's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bai Yan Feng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Erland Spetz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Karen FC's Edgar Tscherner in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kurdistan CF's goalie prevented a goal. Karen FC were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Kurdistan CF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rickard Lövkvist took the corner. The corner led to Karen FC's Rolando Estevez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 24thth minute of the game Edgar Tscherner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Karen FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Karen FC's Edgar Tscherner looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bai Yan Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustav Engström kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. If Edgar Tscherner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erland Spetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Tscherner in the 29th minute of the match. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bai Yan Feng, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute Edgar Tscherner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Spetz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Edgar Tscherner. But to his dismay, Edgar Tscherner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Tscherner in the 41st minute of play forced Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Erland Spetz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erland Spetz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Tscherner in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute, Jan-Åke Kolberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Rickard Lövkvist shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erland Spetz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xalbador Sparke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erland Spetz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Tscherner in the 52nd minute. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Tscherner in the 53rd minute of play. Xalbador Sparke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ma Yong Jun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgar Tscherner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Erland Spetz made a huge save. After 64 played minutes Karen FC got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Tscherner. 69 minutes into the match, Kurdistan CF's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Tscherner came free, but Erland Spetz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Göransson during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tage Göransson kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Erland Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Tscherner's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience was convinced that Edgar Tscherner's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erland Spetz was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 77th minute Karen FC were awarded a corner. Rickard Lövkvist went to the cornerflag to take it. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Tscherner in the 79th minute of play. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Kurdistan CF from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Kurdistan CF's Gustav Engström got a free kick in the 85th minute. Karen FC made a substitution. Knox White replaced Einar Carlsson. Karen FC's Leo Öfverman was substituted for Oskar Sandell. Leo Öfverman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Erland Spetz made a huge save. Bai Yan Feng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karen FC played a much better game than Kurdistan CF and deserved their victory. The Kurdistan CF players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
