Egil Blom was slow to take the kick. During this time Frogner's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Frogner's Egil Blom to fire away a dangerous shot which Erland Spetz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Erland Spetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Sikström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Adrian Sikström came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Frogner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Sikström couldn't finish the play. In the 16th match minute, Kurdistan CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Engström to maneuver through the defense. When Adrian Sikström came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Frogner fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Sikström in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erland Spetz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25thth minute of the game Adrian Sikström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Sikström in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Spetz saved Kurdistan CF from getting behind. Erland Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Östen Gunnarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Måns Wallin hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Erland Spetz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrian Sikström's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Kurdistan CF's Erland Spetz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Östen Gunnarsson in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Kurdistan CF's zone, Adrian Sikström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erland Spetz came out of the goal and Adrian Sikström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 41st minute Ivar Carlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th match minute, Kurdistan CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Wallin to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurdistan CF's goalkeeper Erland Spetz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrian Sikström made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Östen Gunnarsson got free with Erland Spetz in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When John Kämpe fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kurdistan CF's protests and gave John Kämpe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Frogner booed when Kurdistan CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Kämpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Håkan Nässén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Adrian Sikström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erland Spetz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erland Spetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Kilstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute, Frogner's Adrian Sikström ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erland Spetz. Jan-Åke Kolberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Kurdistan CF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Frogner were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
