The Hammarby Gård players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Örebro FF were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarl Apelqvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 58 played minutes Örebro FF got a freekick which was hit by Geovani Dracena. 61 minutes into the match, Örebro FF's goal looked a bit too open when Lennart Möller came free, but Ivan Turina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaafar Jesus got free with Sven-Oskar Dahlquist in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaafar Jesus's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Oskar Dahlquist firmly grabbed it by the left post. The score was now 3-4. 90 minutes into the match, Jarl Apelqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Turina. Örebro FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jarl Apelqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Lennart Möller scored 5-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Turina, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hammarby Gård had won after a very even match.
