Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Indalecio in the 2nd minute of play. Göran Cane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Marcus Ekrot made a huge save. Alvar Vibjörnsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Jose Indalecio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Linus Ahlquist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Mats Ljusberg got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Trancoso in the 14th minute of play forced Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Cane in the 25th minute of play. Fernan Berart kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Göran Cane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Vykans Vikingar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Björn Andberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Svartvallstjärnens IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Björn Andberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcus Ekrot quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 32nd minute Leonardo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linus Ahlquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Linus Ahlquist was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Linus Ahlquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Mutumba in the 34th minute of play. Göran Cane's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Ekrot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Hugo Eden's late challenge caught a Svartvallstjärnens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Eden helped the player get up and apologised. Hugo Eden hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After having played for 49 minutes, Göran Cane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Göran Cane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Martin Mutumba made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goalkeeper Linus Ahlquist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Trancoso. After 56 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Berart. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jose Indalecio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Ahlquist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martin Mutumba's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Svartvallstjärnens IF's Edvin Lindholm was substituted for Tomas Kvalfält. Jose Indalecio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Vykans Vikingar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Cane in the 75th minute of play. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Ahlquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Göran Cane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Vykans Vikingar's goal looked a bit too open when Göran Cane came free, but Marcus Ekrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Svartvallstjärnens IF's zone, Bengt-Arne Haglund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Linus Ahlquist came out of the goal and Bengt-Arne Haglund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Vykans Vikingar's Bengt-Arne Haglund slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Linus Ahlquist. That made the score 0-2 after 95 minutes of play. The Svartvallstjärnens IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vykans Vikingar's performance. The match ended with a win for Vykans Vikingar.
