The audience thought a goal was coming when Knut Collin got free with Torsten Björnsson in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bondeträsk FC's Sven-Erik Mattsson suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Kurt Holmberg charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kurt Holmberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bondeträsk FC's Andréas Björling was substituted for Sven-Erik Mattsson. Kurt Holmberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Andréas Björling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Bondeträsk FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Alfons Stål hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Milan Pavlovský to make the kick off. Alexis Sánchez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Per-Erik Biörk came out and tried to block the shot, but Alexis Sánchez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 53rd minute. Stockholm Generals's Jens-Erik Ahlbom was substituted for Sören Lindqvist. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Sánchez got free with Per-Erik Biörk in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
