Flamengo's August Hjortberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Lugo in the 8th minute of play. Qiao Nan Wen struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Tomás Guillen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. After 13 minutes Timmernabben FF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Li Nan Yu who took care of the corner kick. Flamengo's Li Nan Yu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tomás Guillen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Tomás Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Nan Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Timmernabben FF's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Nan Wen came free, but Tomás Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Guillen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Nan Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Qiao Nan Wen to strike the kick off in the second half. Flamengo's Kasper Bivall was substituted for Qiao Nan Wen. In the 65th minute, Kasper Bivall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Guillen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. August Hjortberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaká Junior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
