Qiao Nan Wen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Philip Målare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Qiao Nan Wen, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The corner led Flamengo's Nicolae Dobrin to fire away a dangerous shot which Philip Målare despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alf Ekelund in the 18th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper August Hjortberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alf Ekelund in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg August Hjortberg saved Flamengo from getting behind. August Hjortberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Ekelund in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Stig-Arne Ekerot got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Munio came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philip Målare was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Qiao Nan Wen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Qiao Nan Wen really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

After 55 minutes, Marcelo Munio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Flamengo's August Hjortberg tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Segelbut IF U21's Alfons Öberg was substituted for Alf Ekelund. Flamengo's attentive Li Nan Yu managed to snatch the ball when Christoffer Josefsson made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 65th minute of the match Flamengo got a corner. Segelbut IF U21's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Li Nan Yu ran over to the corner to take the kick. 69 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Munio came free, but August Hjortberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tord Stolpe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 2-3 when Marcelo Munio sped through Flamengo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of August Hjortberg. In the 85th minute Zhuang Jian Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but August Hjortberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segelbut IF U21's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rickard Lind in the 87th minute. August Hjortberg made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Henric Alefors sent off a good shot on target. Flamengo's August Hjortberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo from getting a goal against them. After 92 minutes, Kasper Bivall made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. Segelbut IF U21's Philip Målare tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexander Krantz made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Munio immediately put the ball in play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
