The audience was convinced that Pedrão de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Kilström was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Pedrão de Amorim scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arne Kilström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, AIK FOTBOLL's Michel Bergendahl got a free kick in the 21st minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Pedrão de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SoS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karl-Erik Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elof Hedin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Matias Roganović hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of AIK FOTBOLL booed when SoS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leif Duset didn't get a good kick on the ball. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save SoS FC from getting a goal against them. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrão de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Marek Jaraczewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, SoS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Duset to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elof Hedin in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Erik Larsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. AIK FOTBOLL's Benne Speed was substituted for Wen Hong Qing. AIK FOTBOLL's Robert Hermansson was substituted for Johan Kuse. SoS FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
