AC Mayonnaise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, AC Mayonnaise's Elias Tharaldsen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arne Kilström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AC Mayonnaise's Ksawery Bondel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save AC Mayonnaise from getting a goal against them. Ksawery Bondel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elof Hedin went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, AC Mayonnaise's Ksawery Bondel got control of the ball when Evert Dahlqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Tharaldsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arne Kilström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Tharaldsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Emanuel Messi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the AC Mayonnaise fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Messi couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evert Dahlqvist made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Elias Tharaldsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mayonnaise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Tharaldsen got free with Arne Kilström in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AC Mayonnaise were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after AIK FOTBOLL's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Messi took the corner. Arne Kilström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Tharaldsen's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Tharaldsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 86th minute AIK FOTBOLL were awarded a corner. Viggo Harlén went to the cornerflag to take it. Ksawery Bondel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Axelsson in the 90th minute of the match. If Robert Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, AC Mayonnaise failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
