Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedrão de Amorim in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Deckberg in the 8th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Kilström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrão de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Pedrão de Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arne Kilström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedrão de Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the game, one of AIK FOTBOLL:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 31 minutes of play, SoS FC's Pedrão de Amorim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Kilström was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, SoS FC's Arne Kilström threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedrão de Amorim, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 36 minutes, Pedrão de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SoS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leif Duset hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Karl-Erik Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elof Hedin in the 40th minute of play. Karl-Erik Larsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elof Hedin went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedrão de Amorim stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Elof Hedin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AIK FOTBOLL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elof Hedin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Pedrão de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Kilström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Pedrão de Amorim left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SoS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. AIK FOTBOLL's Robert Hermansson was substituted for Evert Dahlqvist. AIK FOTBOLL's Benne Speed was substituted for Gürkan Gurka. In the 65th match minute, SoS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig Beckman to maneuver through the defense. SoS FC's Tommy Boylin was substituted for Pedrão de Amorim. After 66 played minutes SoS FC got a freekick which was hit by Stig Beckman. SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save SoS FC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of SoS FC booed when AIK FOTBOLL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Vestlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Harlén made in the 77th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Stig-Arne Skålberg immediately put the ball in play. Tommy Boylin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arne Kilström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Boylin in the 83rd minute of the match. Karl-Erik Larsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Skålberg in the 85th minute of play. AIK FOTBOLL were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after SoS FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Viggo Harlén took the corner. The corner led AIK FOTBOLL's Viggo Harlén to fire away a dangerous shot which Karl-Erik Larsson despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AIK FOTBOLL's zone, Tommy Boylin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arne Kilström came out of the goal and Tommy Boylin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Kilström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Boylin in the 94th minute of play. SoS FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
