Germán Kanø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Di Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Thor Ståhlberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Koch struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Fredric Ahlén didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bergandy. Germán Kanø fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Di Massa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bergandy's Per-Olof Forsberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bergandy's zone, Germán Kanø stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franco Di Massa came out of the goal and Germán Kanø tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 21 played minutes Bergandy got a freekick which was hit by Jack Eklund. With a little luck, Bergandy's Franco Di Massa got control of the ball when Germán Kanø tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Germán Kanø quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 44th minute, Germán Kanø hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Thor Ståhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredric Ahlén. Finninge Fotboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thor Ståhlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Germán Kanø made the kick off in the second half. Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thor Ståhlberg in the 53rd minute of play. The supporters of Finninge Fotboll booed when Bergandy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per-Olof Forsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredric Ahlén showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thor Ståhlberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bergandy's Sven Granberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fredric Ahlén in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 64th minute Germán Kanø shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franco Di Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute of the game Per-Olof Forsberg made a throw-in which Sven Granberg played forward. Fredric Ahlén made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ingvar Molander in the 66th minute. Germán Kanø's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Franco Di Massa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute Thor Ståhlberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fredric Ahlén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Di Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germán Kanø in the 72nd minute of the match. If Thor Ståhlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bergandy made a substitution. Markus Kjellqvist replaced Per-Olof Forsberg. Gabriel Avădanei hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute Bergandy were awarded a corner. Sven Granberg went to the cornerflag to take it. With a little luck, Finninge Fotboll's Fredric Ahlén got control of the ball when Ingvar Molander tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bergandy were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
