Witomir Ziomkowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristian Törnqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 20th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Norberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Andersson in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, spikarna's goalkeeper Lars Norberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jon Engström. The supporters of spikarna booed when Idrottsklubben -03 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy Pihlwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristian Törnqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atakan Pepe in the 26th minute of the match. Sven Nordkvist hit a great ball. Konrad Lewicki hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. A hard shot by William Enström from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Lars Norberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kaj Hård made the kick off in the second half. Kristian Törnqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kaj Hård showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 50 minute of play. If Atakan Pepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Enström charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William Enström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 60 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by William Enström. Kristian Törnqvist had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Sven Nordkvist from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Idrottsklubben -03's Pär Odén in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye spikarna's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Pär Odén's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Norberg was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witomir Ziomkowski in the 69th minute of play. Idrottsklubben -03's Henrik Lindholm was substituted for William Enström. Idrottsklubben -03's Bengt Siggesson was substituted for Valentin Ahlrot. The corner led spikarna's Sven Nordkvist to fire away a dangerous shot which Kristian Törnqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The corner ended in Rickard Alefors almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist did a great save. 76 minutes into the match, Kaj Hård notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist. Kristian Törnqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st minute of the match spikarna got a corner. Idrottsklubben -03's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Atakan Pepe ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on spikarna's corner Kaj Hård fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kristian Törnqvist quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Flink in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Norberg saved spikarna from getting behind. A collision led to Idrottsklubben -03 getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Henrik Lindholm hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Idrottsklubben -03 defense, Kaj Hård kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristian Törnqvist. The Idrottsklubben -03 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristian Törnqvist should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. spikarna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
