Lite Finare Lite Bättre's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Ekerot ran over to the corner to take the kick. Paul Holmstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15thth minute of the game Oscar Lindholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Paul Holmstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Lindholm in the 16th minute of the match. FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lindholm in the 24th minute of play. George Sandell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Alexander Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Holmstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Pepsi defense, Alexander Bergman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Holmstedt. The FC Pepsi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Holmstedt should have stopped the shot. Kanu Kanu scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Sandell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lite Finare Lite Bättre's Oscar Lindholm got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joshua Sammut Castelletti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but George Sandell made a huge save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joshua Sammut Castelletti to strike the kick off in the second half. George Sandell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Sammut Castelletti, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Paul Holmstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Leobardo in the 62nd minute of play. Oscar Lindholm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Paul Holmstedt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Lindholm in the 73rd minute of play forced FC Pepsi's goalkeeper Paul Holmstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute of the match, Oscar Lindholm tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Paul Holmstedt saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a little luck, FC Pepsi's Paul Holmstedt got control of the ball when Oscar Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Joshua Sammut Castelletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joshua Sammut Castelletti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute.
