After 22 played minutes, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Per-Arne Åström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Simon Bergsten came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mörknäs Electric Vikings reached it. The supporters of Mörknäs Electric Vikings booed when HEJA ESLÖV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristoffer Kleen didn't get a good kick on the ball. HEJA ESLÖV's Simon Bergsten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sverker Lundqvist in the 30th minute of play. Bengt-Rune Kämpe's late challenge caught a Mörknäs Electric Vikings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bengt-Rune Kämpe helped the player get up and apologised. Bengt-Rune Kämpe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Simon Bergsten made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Simon Bergsten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Domingues in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Domingues to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesar Domingues struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Cristo Danel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Simon Bergsten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After taking down the ball on Mörknäs Electric Vikings's corner Fredrik Ryberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Simon Bergsten quite easily take care of the ball. Jack Ekenberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 74thth minute tested the skills of Simon Bergsten when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. HEJA ESLÖV's Simon Bergsten proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save HEJA ESLÖV from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Ekenberg got free with Simon Bergsten in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
