Arktis BoIS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that İlmi Akıncıbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carl Askelöf was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The Arktis BoIS fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Arktis BoIS's İlmi Akıncıbey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Lundström in the 73rd minute of play forced Arktis BoIS's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arman Högström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Boomerang Bombers booed when Arktis BoIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. İlmi Akıncıbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Arktis BoIS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arktis BoIS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
