The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of SteffosPojkar FF booed when Neuros och Psykos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter Ahlroht didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 3rd minute, Jaroslaw Dembkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, SteffosPojkar FF's Greg Gavan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Walter Ahlroht charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walter Ahlroht the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Neuros och Psykos got a freekick which was hit by Walter Ahlroht. In the 8th minute Otto Kleiveland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Glozor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greg Gavan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Otto Kleiveland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save SteffosPojkar FF from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Christoffer Fridlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charlie Jonasson's late challenge caught a SteffosPojkar FF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charlie Jonasson helped the player get up and apologised. Charlie Jonasson hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Napoleon Glozor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Andreasson in the 25th minute of play forced Neuros och Psykos's goalkeeper Victor Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Seemayer in the 26th minute of play. Hubert Ahlfors made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leon Banas sent off a good shot on target. Leon Banas came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hubert Ahlfors could save by the left post. Leon Banas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Hubert Ahlfors made a huge save. After a rather tough play, SteffosPojkar FF's Greg Gavan got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Dannes Mañueco made a precise shot to the right of Hubert Ahlfors. SteffosPojkar FF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Napoleon Glozor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Victor Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Christoffer Fridlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Ahlfors saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th minute Greg Gavan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Kleiveland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Linares came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by SteffosPojkar FF's Napoleon Glozor. But to his dismay, Napoleon Glozor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Maximilian Seemayer came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the SteffosPojkar FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximilian Seemayer couldn't finish the play. Napoleon Glozor hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. SteffosPojkar FF made a substitution. Sven-Philipp Ryaa replaced Carl Di Canio. SteffosPojkar FF's Mats Kristiansson was substituted for Håkan Apelkvist. SteffosPojkar FF made a substitution. Philip Molander replaced Maximilian Seemayer. Napoleon Glozor hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leon Banas to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, SteffosPojkar FF's goal looked a bit too open when Christoffer Fridlund came free, but Hubert Ahlfors reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Fridlund in the 59th minute of play. Philip Molander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Otto Kleiveland's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Victor Linares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hubert Ahlfors showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christoffer Fridlund in the 65th minute of the match. SteffosPojkar FF's Hubert Ahlfors played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dannes Mañueco in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to SteffosPojkar FF getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Sven-Philipp Ryaa hit a great ball. Charlie Jonasson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hubert Ahlfors. SteffosPojkar FF's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Hubert Ahlfors took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dannes Mañueco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mariusz Niemoj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Banas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hubert Ahlfors read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. After 84 played minutes SteffosPojkar FF got a freekick which was hit by Otto Kleiveland. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harald Ingemarsson during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Neuros och Psykos getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Harald Ingemarsson hit a great ball. Christoffer Fridlund scored 2-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hubert Ahlfors, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christoffer Fridlund in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hubert Ahlfors prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The SteffosPojkar FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SteffosPojkar FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
