The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Lebron might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Tolsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Lebron ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Lebron in the 4th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Måns Sandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Tolsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to BK Värdsholmen getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gustaf Snäll hit a great ball. Joel Tolsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Måns Sandberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Måns Sandberg in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Värdsholmen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Filcho Slivkov was slow to take the kick. During this time Norrlands Athen's players had a chance to rest. BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save BK Värdsholmen from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match, Måns Sandberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joel Tolsson, 4-0. Måns Sandberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 30thth minute, Joel Tolsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Tolsson was a little too slow when Måns Sandberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 5-0. Måns Sandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Tolsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Måns Sandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Måns Sandberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Joel Tolsson made a huge save. When Norrlands Athen's Måns Sandberg in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BK Värdsholmen's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Åke Öman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norrlands Athen's Filcho Slivkov couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BK Värdsholmen. Joel Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Lebron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Roger Norberg to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Norrlands Athen got a freekick which was hit by Juan Lebron. After a rather tough play, Norrlands Athen's Juan Lebron got a free kick in the 55th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Norrlands Athen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BK Värdsholmen:s goal. In the 62nd match minute, BK Värdsholmen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaf Snäll to maneuver through the defense. Norrlands Athen made a substitution. Calle Bergfelt replaced Wieslaw Wos. A collision led to BK Värdsholmen getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Gustaf Snäll hit a great ball. Joel Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilbert Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Bergfelt came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kent Törnblom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Safet Hands tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Bergfelt came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Tolsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calle Bergfelt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes of play, Norrlands Athen's Calle Bergfelt made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Tolsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's goal looked a bit too open when Calle Bergfelt came free, but Joel Tolsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huang Fei Ting recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filcho Slivkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Tolsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filcho Slivkov ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Filcho Slivkov managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norrlands Athen's supporters rose to their feet, but Filcho Slivkov was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Tolsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calle Bergfelt in the 91st minute of play forced BK Värdsholmen's goalkeeper Joel Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Gilbert Hermansson notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of BK Värdsholmen's Joel Tolsson. Joel Tolsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 96 minutes into the game, Norrlands Athen's Gilbert Hermansson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joel Tolsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-1. Norrlands Athen walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
