Folke Månsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kent Törnblom, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Folke Månsson was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Kent Törnblom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kent Törnblom really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Norberg in the 35th minute of play forced Wrexham A.F.C.'s goalkeeper Folke Månsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo-Erik Grelsson got free with Folke Månsson in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of BK Värdsholmen booed when Wrexham A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvin Rolandsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Karl-Johan Lund to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes BK Värdsholmen got a freekick which was hit by Tage Brodin. The supporters of Wrexham A.F.C. booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Törnblom didn't get a good kick on the ball. The tension between the Wrexham A.F.C. and the BK Värdsholmen players grew even worse after the yellow card. 88 minutes into the match, BK Värdsholmen's Tage Brodin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 92 minutes of play, BK Värdsholmen's Tage Brodin made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Folke Månsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Rune Hedvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wrexham A.F.C.'s Folke Månsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tage Brodin in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the BK Värdsholmen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
