Max Mohammad in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ove Orm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Otto Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olov Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ove Orm was left in no man's land by his defense there! 44 minutes into the match, Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Gustavsson. Ove Orm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claes Ahlroht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Newcastle United FC made a substitution. Florian Liermann replaced Marko Gustavsson.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hjalmar Hjort stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 97th minute of the match, Olov Åkesson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Otto Hermansson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Newcastle United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elefanterna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
