Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rähim Sterling started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Rähim Sterling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fredrik Isak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fredrik Isak's late challenge caught a Garphyttan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fredrik Isak helped the player get up and apologised. Fredrik Isak hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Erik Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncay Cansever in the 9th minute of the match. Garphyttan's Rähim Sterling got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Håkan Söderberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viktor Albäck in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Söderberg saved Degerfors IF from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Viktor Albäck put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Håkan Söderberg. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rähim Sterling in the 23rd minute of play forced Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Håkan Söderberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Kvalfält recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Degerfors IF's attentive Artemio Maore managed to snatch the ball when Ulf Wennerquist made a throw-in in the 26th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Fredrik Isak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Skog narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28th minute of the match Michael Kvalfält shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Håkan Söderberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Artemio Maore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garphyttan the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Degerfors IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Maore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Garphyttan's zone, Tuncay Cansever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Skog came out of the goal and Tuncay Cansever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Håkan Söderberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rähim Sterling in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 37th minute Rähim Sterling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Håkan Söderberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erik Skog showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tuncay Cansever in the 40th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tuncay Cansever hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Rähim Sterling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Håkan Söderberg was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The Degerfors IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garphyttan were winning 0-1.
The wind increased when Tuncay Cansever made the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the game, Tomas Kråk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garphyttan the free kick. The supporters of Garphyttan booed when Degerfors IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Kråk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Jörn Petersson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Degerfors IF's Håkan Söderberg. Håkan Söderberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fredrik Isak was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 58 minutes had been played. Fredrik Isak hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Håkan Söderberg came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Garphyttan's Rähim Sterling. But to his dismay, Rähim Sterling quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Håkan Söderberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viktor Albäck in the 65th minute of play. After 66 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by Christian Håkansson. Rähim Sterling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Håkan Söderberg having to interfere. Garphyttan's Algot Ahlfors was substituted for Viktor Albäck. With his leg Håkan Söderberg managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Garphyttan's Donato de Salles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 81st minute of the match, Rähim Sterling tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Håkan Söderberg saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Garphyttan made a substitution. Albin Bergström replaced Donato de Salles. Degerfors IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 87th minute, when Rähim Sterling scored to the left of an out of position Håkan Söderberg, making the score, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rähim Sterling in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Håkan Söderberg saved Degerfors IF from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Garphyttan's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Erik Skog reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Degerfors IF fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Garphyttan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
