Sigvard Edström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Nino de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jan Karlberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nino de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Överås BK's Jan Karlberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Överås BK from getting a goal against them. Eddie Alstedt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, AC Papaya's Nino de Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jan Karlberg. Jan Karlberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Sigvard Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sigvard Edström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan Jönsson in the 28th minute of the match. Nino de Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jan Karlberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Nino de Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 30th minute. With a little luck, Överås BK's Jan Karlberg got control of the ball when Nino de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sigvard Edström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Kellberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eddie Alstedt during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eddie Alstedt hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 42nd minute, Nino de Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Karlberg. The goal made the score 3-0. In the 46th minute Nino de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Karlberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of AC Papaya booed when Överås BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tobias Kellberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Jan Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Edström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Överås BK getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jan Jönsson hit a great ball. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by Överås BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vilhelm Falkrans was slow to take the kick. During this time AC Papaya's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on AC Papaya's corner Vilhelm Falkrans fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jan Karlberg quite easily take care of the ball. Jan Karlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nino de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Överås BK's Jan Karlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino de Alcântara in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nino de Alcântara in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Karlberg saved Överås BK from getting behind. When AC Papaya's Nino de Alcântara in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The crowd rose to their feet as Överås BK's Tobias Kellberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sigvard Edström. That made the score 3-1 after 82 minutes of play. Jan Karlberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nino de Alcântara in the 87th minute of the match. Nino de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan Karlberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino de Alcântara in the 92nd minute of play. Överås BK's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because AC Papaya had won, even though Överås BK had held more of the ball.
