The audience thought a goal was coming when Arne Stensson got free with André Nordmark in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Staffan Eckegren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexander Ånger's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. André Nordmark made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arne Stensson in the 22nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cléber Marinho could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which André Nordmark however easily saved by the left post.

FC Blueskatterna's André Nordmark played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norman Mabalane in the 57th minute of play. André Nordmark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Stensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléber Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Kjell Hurtig hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peter Björkmans short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Staffan Eckegren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The G A I S fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Alexander Ånger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Staffan Eckegren made a huge save. Staffan Eckegren came out and tried to block the shot, but Peter Björkman slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 92nd minute. Inge Dahlbom's late challenge caught a G A I S's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Inge Dahlbom helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Inge Dahlbom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
