Though ot was a great shot Ryttartorpets FF's keeper Patrik Linqvist was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 8 minutes into the match, Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. The audience was convinced that Petter Skarkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patrik Linqvist was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. After 24 minutes, Petter Skarkman made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The throw-in from Tord Aleberg in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta. Ulrik Söderlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hubert Gruber in the 29th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, Ryttartorpets FF's Stanley Santos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bolo Skjold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Patrik Linqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petter Skarkman in the 35th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Petter Skarkman in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrik Linqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 39 minutes, Petter Skarkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Protegéerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petter Skarkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Martinelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Petter Skarkman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Patrik Linqvist made a huge save. Bolo Skjold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hubert Gruber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Ryttartorpets FF's Taco Oldenborger was substituted for Stanley Santos. Ryttartorpets FF's Jon Nilsson was substituted for Tord Aleberg. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petter Skarkman to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Petter Skarkman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Protegéerna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 64thth minute of the game Petter Skarkman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 65th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrik Linqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Lundin in the 68th minute of play. Bolo Skjold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Taco Oldenborger in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Bo Baand managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ryttartorpets FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo Baand was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bolo Skjold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Protegéerna booed when Ryttartorpets FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Taco Oldenborger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Protegéerna's Andres Lander was substituted for Fernando Arango. Taco Oldenborger kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petter Skarkman in the 76th minute of play forced Ryttartorpets FF's goalkeeper Patrik Linqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th match minute, Ryttartorpets FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Bergman to maneuver through the defense. Petter Skarkman might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrik Linqvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Petter Skarkman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Linqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrik Linqvist. Ryttartorpets FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 89 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Ryttartorpets FF's Patrik Linqvist. Patrik Linqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patrik Linqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Skarkman, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold got control of the ball when Kim Kellbom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrik Linqvist. Patrik Linqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Protegéerna had won after a very even match.
