The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Samurai's Alto Wing quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lars Gudmundsson, made in the 2nd minute of the game. In the 3rd minute, Maxim Tsigalko made a precise shot to the right of Brazilio Butt. DIF LEEDS BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 10th minute Timmy Henriksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Samurai's Morgan Vassenius got a free kick in the 11th minute. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Maxim Tsigalko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brazilio Butt. DIF LEEDS BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxim Tsigalko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The audience was convinced that Maxim Tsigalko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Timmy Henriksson put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Brazilio Butt. After 25 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Henric Persson. In the 26th minute, Maxim Tsigalko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Samurai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Vince Di Cola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Jonasson in the 28th minute of the match. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute of the match Samurai got a corner. DIF LEEDS BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Allan Bivall ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Samurai's corner Allan Bivall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Brazilio Butt quite easily take care of the ball. After 35 minutes, Maxim Tsigalko made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vince Di Cola made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ulf Nordlander sent off a good shot on target. Brazilio Butt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Tsigalko in the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim Tsigalko in the 45th minute of play forced DIF LEEDS BK's goalkeeper Brazilio Butt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maxim Tsigalko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Maxim Tsigalko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brazilio Butt was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. DIF LEEDS BK's Brazilio Butt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save DIF LEEDS BK from getting a goal against them. Samurai's Wu Qi was substituted for Maxim Tsigalko. DIF LEEDS BK's Pál Kormos was substituted for Henric Persson. In the 73rd match minute, Samurai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Blanco to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Wu Qi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brazilio Butt was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Allan Bivall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Samurai's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Bivall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brazilio Butt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 83 in the game by Wu Qi from a close distance when the talented Brazilio Butt managed to make a qualified save. DIF LEEDS BK's players were relieved. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Qi in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute Samurai were awarded a corner. Allan Bivall went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Samurai's Allan Bivall to fire away a dangerous shot which Brazilio Butt despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. DIF LEEDS BK were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Samurai's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eduardo Selmo took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Pál Kormos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Lars Gudmundsson made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Samurai's Jens-Ove Blomqvist. The DIF LEEDS BK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Samurai's performance. The match ended with a win for Samurai.
