After a rather tough play, Royal Excel Mouscron's Dennis Hermansson got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute of the match Eliézer Nascimento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Poe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. João Augusto Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Brazilio Butt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Kunze received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Brazilio Butt came out and tried to block the shot, but Frank Kunze slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Edgar Poe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Persson in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jerry Jonasson in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Poe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Jonasson in the 22nd minute of play forced Royal Excel Mouscron's goalkeeper Edgar Poe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvison Presley in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Augusto Fantini got free with Brazilio Butt in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brazilio Butt made an important save on a dangerous shot by João Augusto Fantini in the 34th minute. Thanks to some nice moves João Augusto Fantini could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Brazilio Butt however easily saved by the left post. Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saul Drew in the 42nd minute of play. Brazilio Butt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of João Augusto Fantini's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Edgar Poe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerry Jonasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Augusto Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Renzo Ingelborgs kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, DIF LEEDS BK's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Fantini came free, but Brazilio Butt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Jerry Jonasson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Royal Excel Mouscron's Edgar Poe. Edgar Poe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Royal Excel Mouscron's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Persson came free, but Edgar Poe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ni Kun Jian hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. A collision led to Royal Excel Mouscron getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Sverker Blixt hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Frank Kunze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brazilio Butt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Poe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pál Kormos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 70 minutes of play, DIF LEEDS BK's Pál Kormos made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgar Poe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Royal Excel Mouscron's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Melker Lundblad in the 79th minute. After 83 played minutes Royal Excel Mouscron got a freekick which was hit by Georg Wiberg. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerry Jonasson in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgar Poe saved Royal Excel Mouscron from getting behind. Brazilio Butt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto Fantini in the 85th minute of play. Edgar Poe was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Jerry Jonasson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerry Jonasson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After a rather tough play, DIF LEEDS BK's Jerry Jonasson got a free kick in the 90th minute. After 91 played minutes DIF LEEDS BK got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Jonasson. Brazilio Butt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Kunze, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the game, Frank Kunze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Brazilio Butt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
