Sven-Ove Stål could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Du Chong Le made a huge save. Alfons Sjö showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 6th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Stål in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 12th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Sven-Ove Stål made a precise shot to the right of Du Chong Le. Djurgården IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Du Chong Le stood somewhat misplaced when Sven-Ove Stål came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 17 minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sven-Ove Stål kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Du Chong Le. That made the score 3-0 in the 23 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Stål's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Du Chong Le was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Ivo Van Houdtvinck charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivo Van Houdtvinck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ivo Van Houdtvinck hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Archie Brodie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garsås IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Archie Brodie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Chong Le breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sven-Ove Stål took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Du Chong Le. Du Chong Le dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the last second Du Chong Le throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sven-Ove Stål in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 39 minutes Djurgården IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Archie Brodie who took care of the corner kick. Alfons Sjö showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven-Ove Stål stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Stål in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garsås IF's Alfons Sjö played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustav Ahlrot in the 53rd minute of play. If Gustav Ahlrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Du Chong Le showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Du Chong Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Du Chong Le narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 69th minute Garsås IF were awarded a corner. Archie Brodie went to the cornerflag to take it. Angelo Mino hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Stål in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Du Chong Le saved Djurgården IF from getting behind. In the 80th minute of the match Garsås IF got a corner. Djurgården IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Archie Brodie ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Stål in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sven-Ove Stål blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Du Chong Le having to make a save. 89 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Stål had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Du Chong Le. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Stål was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Alfons Sjö made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Sven-Ove Stål managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garsås IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Stål was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Du Chong Le breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garsås IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Djurgården IF for a fine match.
