Alfons Sjö made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Nilsson in the 7th minute. After some careless play in the Djurgården IF defense, Sven-Ove Stål kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Du Chong Le. The Djurgården IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Du Chong Le should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Sven-Ove Stål ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Du Chong Le was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Sven-Ove Stål sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Ove Stål in the 16th minute of play. Ivo Van Houdtvinck made in the 18th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Torgny Arvidsson. 19 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Du Chong Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Ove Stål in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Du Chong Le prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Ove Stål in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Du Chong Le saved Djurgården IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 29th minute of play forced Garsås IF's goalkeeper Alfons Sjö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Stål blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Du Chong Le having to make a save. Du Chong Le showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rdth minute of the game Sven-Ove Stål who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes, Sven-Ove Stål made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Sven-Ove Stål's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Du Chong Le was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Djurgården IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven-Ove Stål was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alexander Nilsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Du Chong Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 56th minute of play. Du Chong Le showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Stål in the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Ove Stål came free, but Du Chong Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven-Ove Stål's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Du Chong Le read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. When Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After taking down the ball on Garsås IF's corner Charlie Löfgren fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Du Chong Le quite easily take care of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Garsås IF's Sven-Ove Stål sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Du Chong Le narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 83 minutes Djurgården IF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Archie Brodie who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Garsås IF's corner Bror Ståhlman fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Du Chong Le quite easily take care of the ball. In the 87th minute Bror Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Sven-Ove Stål notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Djurgården IF's Du Chong Le. Du Chong Le was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Garsås IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
