After 9 played minutes NovaStella FK got a freekick which was hit by Ronny Odén. Kim Åkesson came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by NovaStella FK's Marcu Pantelimon. But to his dismay, Marcu Pantelimon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marcu Pantelimon struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kim Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NovaStella FK. Kim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Marcu Pantelimon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Inocencio Lorien came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the NovaStella FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Lorien couldn't finish the play. Jofurs Drängar's Vedat Arslanoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristoffer Ek, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. NovaStella FK's Viktor Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Helström in the 35th minute of play. Viktor Häll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristoffer Ek in the 37th minute of play forced Jofurs Drängar's goalkeeper Kim Åkesson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jofurs Drängar's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time NovaStella FK's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Inocencio Lorien made the kick off in the second half. Jofurs Drängar's Kim Åkesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 52nd minute of play. Gilbert Björklund hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. The corner ended in Ronny Odén almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jofurs Drängar's Kim Åkesson did a great save. With an all-out effort, Jofurs Drängar's Viktor Häll threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alfons Helström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Inocencio Lorien in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim Åkesson saved Jofurs Drängar from getting behind. Ted Salkvist hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Roman Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Kim Åkesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Marcu Pantelimon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kim Åkesson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
