The supporters of Jofurs Drängar booed when Formsvacka FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvin Viberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Helström in the 11th minute of play forced Formsvacka FF's goalkeeper Jörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörn Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Helström, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Jofurs Drängar's goal looked a bit too open when Sigvard Hammarberg came free, but Kim Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Formsvacka FF's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Glad came free, but Jörn Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jörn Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 17th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Jimmy Hasselqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Formsvacka FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Kim Åkesson came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Formsvacka FF's Sigvard Hammarberg. But to his dismay, Sigvard Hammarberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jörn Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Helström in the 29th minute of play. Jofurs Drängar's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ted Salkvist in the 30th minute. After 32 minutes of play, Jofurs Drängar's Magnus Glad made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jörn Strömberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Niklas Jönsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Strömberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Glad in the 38th minute of the match. Jofurs Drängar were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Formsvacka FF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ted Salkvist took the corner. After having played for 45 minutes, Niklas Jönsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formsvacka FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niklas Jönsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Magnus Glad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With a little luck, Formsvacka FF's Jörn Strömberg got control of the ball when Gilbert Björklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kim Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Jönsson in the 55th minute of play. Jörn Strömberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vedat Arslanoğlu in the 57th minute of play. Niklas Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kim Åkesson having to interfere. If Vedat Arslanoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn Strömberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Jofurs Drängar made a substitution. Jonas Kielberg replaced Gilbert Björklund. Tony Lange took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jörn Strömberg. Jörn Strömberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. With a little luck, Formsvacka FF's Jörn Strömberg got control of the ball when Vedat Arslanoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alfons Helström received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jörn Strömberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfons Helström slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 75th minute. Kim Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjell-Arne Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Niklas Jönsson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Kim Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formsvacka FF. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Dung in the 84th minute of play forced Formsvacka FF's goalkeeper Jörn Strömberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Jakobsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 92 minutes into the match. Kim Åkesson had in the 94thth minute some difficulties stopping Kjell-Arne Bengtsson's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sigvard Hammarberg kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Alfons Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
