In the 21st minute, Casper Hansson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Average Joes's Victoriano Abel didn't even have to move. When Daniel Jacobsson came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Högdalstippen-Highvalley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Jacobsson couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Högdalstippen-Highvalley's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Saba came free, but Kleon Pallini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Holmgren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Victoriano Abel made a huge save. A collision led to Average Joes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Kasper Bodin hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Holmgren made a kick off. Average Joes's Victoriano Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arvid Josefsson in the 53rd minute of play. Yavuz Bülent Özger hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Kleon Pallini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Rolandsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute.
