The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Fagerberg in the 6th minute of play forced Hagmoren BK's goalkeeper Lasse Eriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Per Tunström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lasse Eriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Ronaldo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Magne Gunnarsson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 11 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Lasse Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Per Tunström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rönnöfors FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Lasse Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lasse Eriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Per Tunström, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hagmoren BK's Lasse Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rönnöfors FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per Stenberg in the 19th minute. Rönnöfors FF's Sigvard Biörnberg was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lasse Eriksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 20th match minute, Hagmoren BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Rosendahl to maneuver through the defense. Per Stenberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lasse Eriksson. Hagmoren BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Rönnöfors FF's Henry Fagerberg in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hagmoren BK's goalie prevented a goal. Lasse Eriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per Stenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Fagerberg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lasse Eriksson saved Hagmoren BK from getting behind. A collision led to Rönnöfors FF getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dag Spets hit a great ball. With his leg Magne Gunnarsson managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Hagmoren BK's Tony Kvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute Hagmoren BK were awarded a corner. Tommy Abrahamsson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Tony Kvist almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson did a great save. A hard shot 38 in the game by Conny Ronaldo from a close distance when the talented Magne Gunnarsson managed to make a qualified save. Rönnöfors FF's players were relieved. Conny Ronaldo had several of the Rönnöfors FF's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Magne Gunnarsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. 42 minutes into the match, Rönnöfors FF's goalkeeper Magne Gunnarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conny Ronaldo. 45 minutes into the match, Hagmoren BK's goal looked a bit too open when Henry Fagerberg came free, but Lasse Eriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rönnöfors FF's Magne Gunnarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conny Ronaldo in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Fagerberg was the one to do the kick off. Mikael Hellström hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 56thth minute of the game Henry Fagerberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hagmoren BK's Lasse Eriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 58 played minutes Hagmoren BK got a freekick which was hit by Åke Rosendahl. Lasse Eriksson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 59th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sigvard Biörnberg. Lasse Eriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Fagerberg's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hagmoren BK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Per Stenberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Rönnöfors FF's players had a chance to rest. Rönnöfors FF's Wiktor Dahlman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lasse Eriksson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 63 minutes Hagmoren BK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Per Stenberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Sigvard Biörnberg got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 64 minutes into the match. Henry Fagerberg's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Lasse Eriksson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conny Ronaldo in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Magne Gunnarsson saved Rönnöfors FF from getting behind. In the 70th match minute, Rönnöfors FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sten Hökqvist to maneuver through the defense. Rönnöfors FF's Torsten Åman was substituted for Wiktor Dahlman. Sten Hökqvist hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tommy Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hagmoren BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Tommy Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Magne Gunnarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 74th play minutes Henry Fagerberg shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Lasse Eriksson and just under the crossbar into goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Henry Fagerberg sped through Hagmoren BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lasse Eriksson. Henry Fagerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lasse Eriksson stood somewhat misplaced when Henry Fagerberg came free in front of goal and shot 1-6 to the left of him in the 89 minute. Lasse Eriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Fagerberg in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rönnöfors FF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
