Spectators: 145 (Terracing: 110, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zebastian Palmkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, IzmirFK's goal looked a bit too open when Zebastian Palmkvist came free, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zydrunas Karcemarskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zebastian Palmkvist in the 8th minute of play. Zydrunas Karcemarskas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin Bozduganov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes IzmirFK got a freekick which was hit by Tim Käcker. After 14 minutes of play, FC NILS's Zebastian Palmkvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zydrunas Karcemarskas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of FC NILS booed when IzmirFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harald Drake didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Nordlund in the 22nd minute of play forced IzmirFK's goalkeeper Zydrunas Karcemarskas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Burman charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göran Burman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 23 played minutes IzmirFK got a freekick which was hit by Göran Burman. Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zebastian Palmkvist in the 25th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Darin Bozduganov during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Darin Bozduganov got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 31 played minutes IzmirFK got a freekick which was hit by Tim Käcker. The supporters of IzmirFK booed when FC NILS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pasha Bollen didn't get a good kick on the ball. IzmirFK's Zydrunas Karcemarskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zebastian Palmkvist in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Marko Hegg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zebastian Palmkvist took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zydrunas Karcemarskas. Zydrunas Karcemarskas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. After 46 played minutes FC NILS got a freekick which was hit by Tim Nordlund. After the first half FC NILS were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Peter Vollander made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Zebastian Palmkvist could shoot a difficult shot in the 51st minute, which Zydrunas Karcemarskas however easily saved by the left post. After some careless play in the IzmirFK defense, Zebastian Palmkvist kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zydrunas Karcemarskas. The IzmirFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zydrunas Karcemarskas should have stopped the shot. In the 58th minute, Zebastian Palmkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. During the 64th minute of the match Darin Bozduganov completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Darin Bozduganov a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to FC NILS getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Darin Bozduganov hit a great ball. FC NILS's Florencio Gaueko was substituted for Ervin Gigovski. FC NILS's Christer Boberg was substituted for Marko Hegg. Darin Bozduganov hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerry Bremming in the 75th minute of play forced FC NILS's goalkeeper Andreas Svensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Christer Boberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Josefsson in the 89th minute of the match. Ferdi Kadıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Christer Boberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zydrunas Karcemarskas having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Christer Boberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th of the match, Christer Boberg tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Zydrunas Karcemarskas got in the way and made a wonderful save. FC NILS were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after IzmirFK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Christer Boberg took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Christer Boberg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zydrunas Karcemarskas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC NILS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
