Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Uno Mattsson sent off a good shot on target. 9 minutes into the game, Uno Mattsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Azam Sum was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th minute, Johannes Tidén ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rıza Vuralhan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azam Sum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 24 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goal looked a bit too open when Andreas Carlberg came free, but Rıza Vuralhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Argyris Papapetrou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Azam Sum made a huge save. After having played for 36 minutes, Argyris Papapetrou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strömsbro IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Argyris Papapetrou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Azam Sum narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Strömsbro IF got a corner. Moodys IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mao Jun Yun ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mao Jun Yun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Brian May made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Argyris Papapetrou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strömsbro IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Argyris Papapetrou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Azam Sum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Moodys IF's zone, Argyris Papapetrou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Azam Sum came out of the goal and Argyris Papapetrou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Argyris Papapetrou made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Moodys IF's Azam Sum tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Moodys IF made a substitution. Viggo Bolin replaced Erik Pettersson. Moodys IF's Sven-Erik Martinsson was substituted for Alex Kilstedt. Strömsbro IF's Uno Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Moodys IF defense, Argyris Papapetrou kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Azam Sum. The Moodys IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Azam Sum should have stopped the shot. If Argyris Papapetrou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Azam Sum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Argyris Papapetrou, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Brian May could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. In the 76th minute, Georg Glad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian May could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rıza Vuralhan made a huge save. In the 79th minute Argyris Papapetrou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azam Sum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azam Sum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argyris Papapetrou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıza Vuralhan made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Kjell-Arne Åberg sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan got control of the ball when Kjell-Arne Åberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Strömsbro IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
