The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carl Nordlander during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 29 minutes into the match, Marek Panasewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Galen Fågel, 1-0. Karl-Åke Lidström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aleksander Lindholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Åke Lidström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aleksander Lindholm in the 39th minute of the match. Karl-Åke Lidström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Hägert, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Galen Fågel made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Arnulfo Ongile sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleksander Lindholm in the 45th minute of play forced Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hemse RK's Lirian Andonovski was substituted for Andy Cane. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörn Erserman to make the kick off. Fredrik Klack fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Lidström having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Hemse RK's goal looked a bit too open when Marek Panasewicz came free, but Galen Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleksander Lindholm took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karl-Åke Lidström. Karl-Åke Lidström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 70 minutes into the match, Blomstermåla BK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Lidström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Carlos Nogueira. Hemse RK were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Blomstermåla BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Hägert took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fredrik Klack got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Åke Lidström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Aleksander Lindholm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute Aleksander Lindholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Lidström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Aleksander Lindholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Åke Lidström was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Hemse RK's Galen Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Ongile in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Blomstermåla BK's Karl-Åke Lidström got control of the ball when Aleksander Lindholm tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aleksander Lindholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Karl-Åke Lidström made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
