An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Överman in the 4th minute of play forced Sledgehammer KO's goalkeeper Benny Bur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led to IFK Fjärås's Ivan Överman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Esat Kemalettin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 9th minute of the match Sledgehammer KO got a corner. IFK Fjärås's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristian Saleh ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ben Şah took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benny Bur. Benny Bur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Benny Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ben Şah in the 15th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ben Şah in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benny Bur saved Sledgehammer KO from getting behind. Kristoffer Västerberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Michael in the 20th minute of the match. Ben Şah blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benny Bur having to make a save. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Şah, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Ben Şah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Fjärås's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Şah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sledgehammer KO's Sebastián Caniggia got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, IFK Fjärås's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Michael came free, but Kristoffer Västerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Ben Şah made a precise shot to the right of Benny Bur. Sledgehammer KO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. When Sebastián Caniggia came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Sledgehammer KO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Caniggia couldn't finish the play. IFK Fjärås's Ivan Överman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Rune Fanström in the 42 minute of the game. In the 45th minute Sten Sandell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristoffer Västerberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Recep Talha Keskin's late challenge caught a Sledgehammer KO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Recep Talha Keskin helped the player get up and apologised. Recep Talha Keskin hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sebastián Caniggia to strike the kick off in the second half. Kristoffer Västerberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Michael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Şah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benny Bur having to interfere. A collision led to IFK Fjärås getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Torbjörn Samuelsson hit a great ball. IFK Fjärås made a substitution. Johannes Kilström replaced Ivan Överman. In the 75th match minute, IFK Fjärås was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Samuelsson to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cetin in the 76th minute of play forced IFK Fjärås's goalkeeper Kristoffer Västerberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Michael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Kristoffer Västerberg made a huge save. Ben Şah's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benny Bur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Kristoffer Västerberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuz Cetin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After some careless play in the IFK Fjärås defense, Oğuz Cetin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristoffer Västerberg. The IFK Fjärås fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristoffer Västerberg should have stopped the shot. Sledgehammer KO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
