Syrianska FF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thomás Nickerson in the 3rd minute. Syrianska FF's Thomás Nickerson was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benny Bur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 6 minutes into the match, Syrianska FF's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuz Cetin came free, but Wictor Mejling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oğuz Cetin in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wictor Mejling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oğuz Cetin might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wictor Mejling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuz Cetin ran back to his position shaking his head. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Cetin in the 14th minute of play. Oğuz Cetin scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wictor Mejling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wictor Mejling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oğuz Cetin in the 19th minute of play. Frans Hökkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Benny Bur made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuz Cetin in the 25th minute of play forced Syrianska FF's goalkeeper Wictor Mejling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Aşkın Atik came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sledgehammer KO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aşkın Atik couldn't finish the play. Benny Bur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Tio Tio fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Syrianska FF's protests and gave Tio Tio a yellow card for diving instead. Tio Tio kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Oğuz Cetin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sledgehammer KO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuz Cetin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oğuz Cetin might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wictor Mejling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuz Cetin ran back to his position shaking his head. 55 minutes into the game, Oğuz Cetin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wictor Mejling. Oğuz Cetin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Benny Bur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Fredriksson in the 57th minute of play. Sledgehammer KO's Ali Baran Korhan was substituted for Rune Fanström. Tio Tio made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Jens-Åke Godholm. Tor Fredriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Frans Hökkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benny Bur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sebastián Caniggia might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wictor Mejling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastián Caniggia ran back to his position shaking his head. Wictor Mejling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Caniggia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benny Bur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Correia went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 72ndth minute of the game Sebastián Caniggia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Syrianska FF's Wictor Mejling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wictor Mejling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastián Caniggia in the 73rd minute. Sebastián Caniggia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Wictor Mejling made a huge save. Syrianska FF's Kent Norberg was substituted for Frans Hökkvist. Syrianska FF's Sigvard Wahlnäs was substituted for Thomás Nickerson. Sledgehammer KO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Sledgehammer KO's Benny Bur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Norberg in the 89th minute of play. After some careless play in the Sledgehammer KO defense, Sigvard Wahlnäs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benny Bur. The Sledgehammer KO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benny Bur should have stopped the shot. Tio Tio made in the 96th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sledgehammer KO's Daniel Gunnarsson. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
