Greger Bogren charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greger Bogren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Greger Bogren kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. MDV Mount Eaver's Casper Lundin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save MDV Mount Eaver from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute Tom Sjöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Foster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivar Sundin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, MDV Mount Eaver's goalkeeper Casper Lundin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carl Brandin. Avantgarde's Carl Brandin got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute Greger Bogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Lundin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Tom Sjöman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Avantgarde got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Emander. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Avantgarde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sven-Olof Tinglöv was slow to take the kick. During this time MDV Mount Eaver's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Sven-Olof Tinglöv got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ben Foster quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

In the 51st minute Edvin Stålberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ben Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Stålberg struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ben Foster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MDV Mount Eaver. Ivar Sundin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Ben Foster skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Greger Bogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casper Lundin was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Avantgarde's Marko Kilman was substituted for Mårten Julin. Avantgarde's Lennart Westerstrand was substituted for Greger Bogren.
