The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Stensson in the 5th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Momlinho's Kurt Aspengren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hu Sheng Nan, made in the 9th minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Jim Brenner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Koller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Sheng Nan got free with Joachim Hellkvist in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC Momlinho's Joachim Hellkvist got control of the ball when Sture Stensson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pepsi FC's Christer Forsberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Koller in the 23rd minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Momlinho fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! FC Momlinho:s Joachim Hellkvist showed great skill when he stopped Allan Hedman:s penalty. Christer Forsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Pepsi FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Allan Hedman hit a great ball. Jan Koller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Christer Forsberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joachim Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Stensson in the 44th minute of the match. Sakarias Koch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Joachim Hellkvist made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Sha Zhen in the 47th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Hammarbäck to make the kick off. Allan Hedman hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Malcolm Hammarbäck came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the FC Momlinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Hammarbäck couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute Qi Sha Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Hellkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pepsi FC's zone, Malcolm Hammarbäck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christer Forsberg came out of the goal and Malcolm Hammarbäck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joachim Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sture Stensson in the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, FC Momlinho's goal looked a bit too open when Qi Sha Zhen came free, but Joachim Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepsi FC's Anacleto Cutberto was substituted for Sture Stensson. Joachim Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Cutberto in the 76th minute of the match. Christer Forsberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Skröder in the 82nd minute of play. Anacleto Cutberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joachim Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Momlinho made a substitution. Eric Haeger replaced Malcolm Hammarbäck. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qi Sha Zhen in the 90th minute of play forced FC Momlinho's goalkeeper Joachim Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Anacleto Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepsi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anacleto Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joachim Hellkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Pepsi FC booed when FC Momlinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Koller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim Hellkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hu Sheng Nan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The FC Momlinho players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pepsi FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
