Robin Bäckström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robin Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Torbjörn Grep in the 9th minute of play. Ninjas FK were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after The Northmen Army's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nils-Emil Finman took the corner. The audience was convinced that Torbjörn Grep's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robin Bäckström was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Torbjörn Grep struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Robin Bäckström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ninjas FK. Torbjörn Grep kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Arne Löfgren got a free kick in the 44th minute. After 47 played minutes The Northmen Army got a freekick which was hit by Igor Bozakov. 48 minutes into the match, Ninjas FK's Torbjörn Grep sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robin Bäckström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Torbjörn Grep to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Torbjörn Grep managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ninjas FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Torbjörn Grep was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Ninjas FK got a freekick which was hit by Claes Landin. The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 64th minute of play. When The Northmen Army's Hjalmar Håkansson in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kiko Zimbo got free with Gösta Andreasson in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Northmen Army's goalkeeper Robin Bäckström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
